The Xiaomi 18 is coming in September, rumor has it, and according to a new leak from China, it will boast a 6.4-inch flat screen. That’s marginally bigger than its predecessor‘s 6.3″ panel, and it will keep the same 19.5:9 aspect ratio.
The Xiaomi 18‘s panel will allegedly have “2K” resolution, which is an improvement over the Xiaomi 17, as well as ultra-narrow bezels, and large rounded corners. The phone’s battery capacity will start with the number 7, and one commenter on Weibo seems to think it will be 7,800 mAh.

Anyway, even if it’s “just” 7,000 mAh, that’s still significantly larger than the Xiaomi 17’s 6,330 mAh cell. Interestingly, DCS mentions that the Xiaomi 18 Pro and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max will get two 200MP cameras, both the main and the telephoto, but on this occasion hasn’t said anything about the ‘vanilla’ Xiaomi 18’s cameras. This phone was previously rumored to sport a 200MP telephoto camera too (but would keep the 50MP resolution of the Xiaomi 17’s main camera).
