Samsung’s next Fan Edition phone may have just appeared ahead of schedule. While the leaked image doesn’t reveal much about the specs, it does show one design change that’s hard to ignore.
A newly surfaced wireless certification listing appears to include a real-world image of the upcoming Galaxy S26 FE. This gives us our first look at Samsung’s next affordable flagship. At first glance, it looks very similar to the current Galaxy S25 FE. However, a closer look reveals a revised camera housing that feels a little unusual.
The biggest visual change is a new raised camera bump that looks similar to the design Samsung has used on recent Galaxy Z Fold models and the wider Galaxy S26 series. Instead of having each camera lens sit more independently on the rear panel, the cameras now appear to be grouped within a raised section.
That sounds like a minor tweak, but the placement is what makes it stand out. In the leaked image, the camera bump sits noticeably close to both the top and side edges of the phone. Compared to Samsung’s other recent devices, the layout looks slightly cramped, giving the S26 FE a somewhat awkward appearance.
It’s a small detail. However, design changes like this often attract attention because Samsung’s Fan Edition phones typically stick closely to the look of the main Galaxy S lineup.
Beyond the image itself, the leak doesn’t reveal a huge amount. Previous reports have suggested the Galaxy S26 FE could arrive with Samsung’s Exynos 2500 chipset, 8GB of RAM and Android 17 out of the box. If accurate, that would give the phone a fairly modern foundation. This would be ahead of its expected launch later this year.
The certification listing also references Qi 2.2.1 wireless charging support. Although there’s no sign of built-in magnets or Magnetic Power Profile support. Many analysts believe the listed 5W charging speed is placeholder information rather than a final specification.
The Galaxy S26 FE will not launch until around August or September, so there’s still plenty of time for more details to emerge. For now, though, this leak suggests Samsung isn’t radically changing its Fan Edition formula. Even if that new camera bump might divide opinion.
