Mere hours ago, Nothing co-founder Akis Evangelidis revealed that the company won’t be launching a new CMF phone this year. Now, the official Nothing X account has shared a cryptic teaser that could hint at a new Nothing phone coming soon. Here it is embedded below.

Unsurprisingly, this has made people on the internet speculate about the possible launch of a Nothing Phone (4b), complementing the already available Nothing Phone (4a) and Nothing Phone (4a) Pro. It makes some sense – the Nothing Phone (3) hasn’t done very well, so the company might be planning to focus solely on mid-range devices going forward, at least for the time being.
But this would be the first time Nothing has ever used the letter “b” in a product name, which is why we advise you to take this with a grain of salt. It could very well also be an entirely different product. Nothing does a lot of TWS earbuds and headphones too, after all.
In typical Nothing fashion, we expect the company to continue its teaser campaign for whatever device this turns out to be, so stay tuned for more.
