Dreame Technology is a consumer tech company known for its range of smart home appliances. Dreame’s products are now in over 42 million homes across 120 countries, and its robot vacuums rank No.1 in 30 markets worldwide.
Last week, Dreame was hosting its biggest-ever international event, DREAME NEXT, which ran April 27–30, 2026, at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco. Over four days, the company launched products across many categories, from smart home appliances and personal care devices to smart vehicles and even smartphones, and this was the first time Dreame showcased almost its entire product portfolio.
There’s plenty to talk about, but two products stand out. The Dreame A3 AWD Pro is a robotic lawn mower that maps and cuts your yard without any wires or base stations; all you have to do is unbox it and let it go. And the L60 Series is Dreame’s new range of robotic vacuum-and-mop combos, led by the L60 Pro Ultra, which is built to handle large homes, stubborn stains, and complex floor plans with minimal input from you. Here’s what you need to know.
What is DREAME NEXT?

Jonathan Feist / Android Authority
DREAME NEXT was a four-day event that the brand has split into five themed segments: Drive Next (smart mobility), Living Next (smart home), Connect Next (personal devices), Self Next (personal care), and Humanity Next (the future of technology overall). Each segment had its own stage time, featuring product launches, ecosystem announcements, and forums with some truly impressive speakers.
It might seem like a lot, and it is, but that’s on purpose. As Yang Shu, the General Manager for North America, says, “For us, we understand the simplest logic of business: quality and technology. This doesn’t limit us to one industry. With the same logic, we can step into another industry by finding the correct team, technology, and marketing ways.”
The guest list was also impressive. Sebastian Thrun, a Stanford professor and Google X founder known as the father of modern autonomous driving, was there for the smart vehicle launch. Steve Wozniak, Apple co-founder, spoke during the smartphone and personal devices segment. And three-time NBA champion Dwyane Wade appeared on the smart home appliances day. The lineup included leaders and industry stalwarts with incredible expertise across the various products Dreame showed off at the event.
The forums also included Turing Award winner David Patterson, former NASA scientist Sylvia Acevedo, Stanford business professor Yossi Feinberg, Berkeley economist Barry Eichengreen, former Meta VP of Design Julie Zhuo, and tech futurist Robert Scoble, among others. They discussed big topics like how AI is changing products, whether we need new ways of thinking about products in the intelligent era, and how humans and technology might evolve together over the next ten years.

Dreame also launched a huge number of products at NEXT. The Living Next segment alone features over 20 smart home devices, including an air conditioner with two robotic arms that can direct airflow in eight directions, a refrigerator with a built-in food scanner and sparkling water system, and a fully robotic laundry arm that handles clothes from washing to putting them away. Other highlights include a robot pool cleaner that docks itself, smart pet feeders, window-cleaning robots, and even a luxury smartphone.
We want our customers to know they have Dreame as an option in every industry in the future. That’s the message we want to send in this launch event.Yang Shu, General Manager for North America
And what connects all these products isn’t just a large portfolio. Instead, it’s three core technologies found in every product: high-speed digital motors (Dreame created the 200,000 RPM digital motor), intelligent algorithms (with over 10,000 patents worldwide), and bionic robotic arms (first used in robot vacuums and now in air conditioners, dishwashers, range hoods, and more). The event is Dreame’s way of showing that these different products share the same engineering story.
Dreame A3 AWD Pro – The robotic lawn mower that does it all itself

Robotic lawn mowers are getting better with every generation. But plenty of models still require a fair bit of work, such as setting up perimeter wires, RTK base stations, and other calibration steps, all of which can be quite strenuous and time-consuming. With the A3 AWD Pro, Dreame wants to change that conversation entirely — all you need to do is unbox the device, and it’s good to go.
This “plug and play” setup is something that Dreame, rightfully, is quite proud of. As Mr. Yang says, ”We are one of the first, or exactly the first, to have a robotic lawnmower in the yard that doesn’t require any cables. Not under the grass, not around the garden, you don’t need anything. The experience is like using a robot vacuum cleaner. Just put it there, and it does everything by itself, including mapping and cleaning.”

Jonathan Feist / Android Authority
Making this possible is a sensor setup called OmniSense™ 3.0, which combines a 360° 3D LiDAR with binocular AI vision to let the mower map your entire yard autonomously. It learns the layout, identifies obstacles, and plans its mowing path, all without wires buried in your lawn and without an RTK station anchored to your garden fence.
OmniSense™ 3.0 is also capable of detecting and avoiding more than 300 different types of obstacles, everything from garden ornaments and hoses to sleeping pets and playing children. The system uses its binocular AI vision to understand the actual shape and context of what’s in front of it.
Parents always worry about their pets or children in the room. Our camera and sensors can easily recognize if there’s a kid or a dog in front, so it will stop working.Yang Shu, General Manager for North America
Of course, the A3 AWD Pro impresses with its navigation and mowing capabilities. It’s a four-wheel-drive machine engineered to handle 80% slopes and to navigate obstacles up to 2.17 inches (5.5cm) high. A typical lawn threshold, tree root ridge, or patio edge lip is well within that range. Lawns are never flat, pristine rectangles, and Dreame has built the A3 AWD Pro with that reality in mind.

As far as its mowing capabilities go, the A3 AWD Pro uses 15.8-inch-wide dual blades that handle the main cutting area, with a cutting height range of 1.2 to 3.9 inches (3 to 10cm), giving you precise control over how your lawn looks. But the headline cutting feature is EdgeMaster™, which delivers edge precision to within 2 inches (5cm) of walls, borders, and lawn edges.
The A3 AWD Pro’s All-in Center base station takes care of everything else: auto-charging keeps the robot ready, AutoCare handles automated cleaning and maintenance, and Auto Shelter protects the robot from harsh sun, heavy rain, and extreme weather. Dreame promises a truly hands-off lawn care experience, and the A3 AWD Pro delivers.
Dreame L60 Series: A robot vacuum for every kind of home

Jonathan Feist / Android Authority
The L60 Series is Dreame’s new high-end cleaning lineup, which launched at the Living Next segment with Dwyane Wade in attendance for a live interaction. As Mr. Yang explains, “The L series focuses more on price efficiency, with a price range between $500 to $1,000. This way, all our customers can try the latest technology.”
L60 Pro Ultra: The top-of-the-line model

Jonathan Feist / Android Authority
The L60 Pro Ultra is the hero product of the series, which Dreame calls “the Ultimate All-in-One.” It’s designed for large homes with complex layouts and stubborn cleaning challenges.
The most eye-catching feature is the upgraded ProLeap™ System, with a 3.46-inch obstacle clearance capability, backed by VersaLift Navigation. For anyone living with raised thresholds or cables across floors, this makes a significant difference. Most robot vacuums struggle to cross barriers taller than about an inch, while the L60 Pro Ultra is designed to handle nearly three and a half.
Dreame also takes suction power to the next level. The L60 Pro Ultra runs Vormax™ at 35,000Pa, which is comfortably at the top end of what’s available in the category right now. Paired with the HyperStream™ Detangling DuoBrush, it can handle high-volume carpet debris, pet hair, and usual messes without the main brush getting clogged up and needing manual untangling.
But big numbers don’t always showcase what it’s capable of. Mr. Yang says, “Our laboratory will keep investing to describe this suction power increase or performance increase into a real improvement of customer experiences. For example, the L60 Pro’s 40% increase in suction power means it can bring more dust from long-fiber carpets, making it even cleaner.”

The mopping system combines Dual Omni-Scrub Mopping with Hot Water and a Thermal Mop Pad, meaning the mop heads aren’t just dragging a damp cloth across the floor, but are instead scrubbing with rotary motion and heat. And the Dual Flex Arm Technology extends both the side brush and the mop outward for complete edge and corner coverage.
The base station uses ThermoHub™ technology to self-clean the mop pads at 212°F (100°C), while the AceClean™ DryBoard keeps mop pad residue minimal after the cleaning cycle. Battery life is another area where the Pro Ultra stands apart. Its 6,400mAh PowerCore™ Battery is the largest in the series, making it well-suited to the large-footprint homes it’s designed for.
The L60 Pro Ultra is priced at $1,399.99, but there’s a limited-time launch offer that brings the price down to $1,259.99, with a free accessory kit available on the official website.
The Dreame L60 Ultra, L60 Ultra PE, and L60 Ultra FE

Jonathan Feist / Android Authority
Before diving into the differences, let’s first look at the similarities the four robot vacuums in the lineup share. Every L60 model features Dual Flex Arm Technology on both the side brush and the mop, ensuring excellent edge coverage across the board. You’ll also find Vormax™ Suction, with the suction power falling in the 28,000–35,000Pa range.
All four models also include the 8-in-1 PowerDock™ base station, ThermoHub™ technology for hot-water mop washing, the AceClean™ DryBoard, and months-long hands-free maintenance.
Speaking about why there are so many different models in the L60 series, Mr. Yang says, “We provide these options so customers can select themselves, and we can learn from the data to see which features satisfy our customers the most. That will be the direction we keep focusing on for the next generation.”
The L60 Ultra is described as the “Precision Whole-Home Coverage” model, and its standout addition is the AI-Enhanced 3D ToF Vision system, combining a 3D time-of-flight sensor, AI camera, and LED for superior obstacle detection in low-light conditions and under low-profile furniture. It comes in an 82mm ultra-thin design, useful for getting under beds and sofas, and adds HyperStream™ Detangling DuoBrush 2.0, SmartDirt™ Detection, and Pet-Friendly Care 5.0.
The L60 Ultra PE is an upgrade over the FE with 30,000Pa suction, a HyperStream™ Detangling DuoBrush, 3DAdapt™ Obstacle Avoidance capable of recognizing 220 object types with depth information, and OmniDirt™ Detection with automatic mop rewashing and floor remopping when the system detects it hasn’t cleaned adequately. It’s a strong mid-tier choice for homes that need smart obstacle handling.
And finally, there’s the L60 Ultra FE, which Dreame calls the “Essential Automated Choice.” Even though it’s the entry-level device in the L60 family, it still packs 30,000Pa suction, Dual Flex Arm Technology, TriCut Brush 3.0, a Detangling Side Brush, and the full-automated base station experience. For anyone getting into robotic vacuum cleaning for the first time, this is still a seriously capable machine at an accessible entry point.
More than just a product launch

Jonathan Feist / Android Authority
DREAME NEXT was more than just a flashy product-launch moment; it was Dreame putting its best foot forward by showcasing everything it does and can do across a multitude of consumer technology categories during this multi-day event at the Palace of the Fine Arts in San Francisco. The location choice was deliberate, as it “combines technology and beauty, making it a perfect place for our announcement.”
Mr. Yang adds, “Dreamy is known as a technology-focused company, with 70% of our employees in R&D. We focus on innovations, bringing good technologies to the market.
The A3 AWD Pro and L60 Pro Ultra alone give you a pretty good sense of Dreame’s prowess, with machines that are smarter, more capable, and better designed than what most people have come to expect from the category.
We want to be a company not only here to sell but to stay, combining with local culture to find products that understand and suit customers.Yang Shu, General Manager for North America
