Oscar best picture nominee Marty Supreme arrives on HBO Max shortly. Directed by Josh Safdie and starring Timothée Chalamet, Gwyneth Paltrow, Odessa A’zion, Kevin O’Leary and Tyler Okonma (aka Tyler, The Creator), the sports dramedy is set in the 1950s and centers on Chalamet’s table tennis player Marty Mauser, who “goes to hell and back in pursuit of greatness,” per an A24 synopsis.

While it didn’t win any Oscars, the ping-pong epic nabbed nine total nominations, including best director, best actor and best original screenplay. In addition to Marty Supreme, HBO Max subscribers will eventually be able to stream A24 films such as The Drama, starring Zendaya and Robert Pattinson, and The Death of Robin Hood, starring Hugh Jackman and Jodie Comer, as part of a renewed deal.

Marty Supreme hits HBO Max in the US on Friday, April 24.

HBO Max last raised prices in October, increasing the ad-supported Basic tier to $11 per month or $110 per year. The streamer’s ad-free Standard tier costs $18.50 per month or $185 per year, and its ad-free Premium tier runs $23 per month or $230 per year. If you have Premium or Standard, you can download titles and watch select live sports.
