vivo is continuing its teaser campaign for the X Fold6 ahead of its launch next week. The latest teasers confirm the foldable’s battery capacity, ingress protection ratings, and connectivity features.

In a post on Weibo, vivo’s product manager Han Boxiao revealed that the vivo X Fold6 will house a large 7,000mAh battery. As per the executive, the battery uses an industry-first fifth-generation silicon anode technology and third-generation semi-solid state battery tech.

vivo claims the X Fold6 can deliver up to 9.8 hours of battery life under heavy usage, which is supposedly a 30% improvement over its predecessor, the X Fold5.

The company has also confirmed that the flagship foldable will carry IPX8 and IPX9 water-resistance ratings, along with an upgraded hinge. vivo further says the handset will feature an enhanced communication system with new Wi-Fi and signal amplification antennas.

Yesterday, vivo shared a teaser video showcasing the X Fold6 in three color options. The company has now revealed their official names. The phone will be available in Blue Hole, Salt Lake, and Polar Night shades. Meanwhile, a special Black Gold Edition with gold accents will also be available.

The vivo X Fold6 will be unveiled in China on June 26 and is confirmed to offer an 8.02-inch foldable screen, a 200MP primary rear camera, and run OriginOS 6 Fold. It will be powered by a special edition Dimensity 9500 chipset.
