Samsung has released two Android 17-based One UI 9 beta updates for the Galaxy S26 series, and it’s even testing One UI 9 for the unannounced Galaxy S26 FE. Now we hear the brand has started internal testing for the Galaxy S25 series smartphones as well.

We don’t know the build version of One UI 9 that Samsung is testing, but we expect the Korean brand to release the first One UI 9 beta for the Galaxy S25 lineup in the coming weeks.

Regarding the official debut of One UI 9, Samsung said that the upcoming folding smartphones will be the first to run it out of the box. Samsung is expected to unveil three folding smartphones this year – the Galaxy Z Flip8, the Galaxy Z Fold8, and the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra. Rumors claim these smartphones will be unveiled on July 22 at an event in London.
