Samsung is continuing its ongoing rollout of One UI 8.5, the version of its Android skin that debuted on the Galaxy S26 family back in January. The rollout started earlier this month with the Galaxy S25 and S24 series, and then trickled its way down to more and more of the company’s high-end devices, including foldables.
Samsung Galaxy A26
Today the update has reached the Galaxy A26. This phone launched in March of last year with One UI 7 on board, and received its update to One UI 8 in late September. And now the update to One UI 8.5 has been spotted rolling out in Guatemala, with the firmware version A266MUBU9CZEA.

As always, the update is likely to go out in stages, so it may not have reached every single Galaxy A26 unit in Guatemala yet, but it is on the way. Hopefully Samsung will spread the availability to even more countries and regions in the coming days.
