The Redmi A7 Pro 5G has been launched in India as a budget smartphone featuring a large 6.9-inch display. Notably, it is the first Pro model in the company’s A-series lineup.

It is powered by the Octa-core Unisoc T8300 chipset, which is paired with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. The phone also features a microSD card slot for storage expansion.

At the front, the Redmi A7 Pro 5G sports a 6.9-inch HD+ LCD display that offers a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and 800 nits of peak brightness.

In the camera department, the handset has a 32MP primary rear sensor. For selfies and video calling, it features an 8MP camera.

The phone comes with a 6,300mAh battery with 15W wired and 7.5W reverse wired charging support. It runs Android 16-based HyperOS 3 and will receive 4 years of OS updates and 6 years of security patches.

Other specifications include an IP52 rating, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, dual 5G SIM support, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port.






It is available in Black, Mist Blue, and Sunset Orange color options.

The Redmi A7 Pro 5G is priced at INR 11,499 ($125) for the 4GB/64GB variant, whereas the 4GB/128GB option will cost you INR 12,499 ($135). Sales are set to begin on April 15.
