Back in January, Motorola unveiled the Moto G67 and the Moto G77. It seems there is a third model planned, based on some help pages on Motorola.com plus one Italian retailer.
The Motorola Moto G87 can be seen on this page – Learn about the moto g87 over on Motorola.com. The page contains a hardware overview, alas, with no details. From the schematic images, we can tell that it looks like a typical Motorola, which isn’t much. We did find some good news – here’s how to insert a microSD card into the G87, which apparently supports cards up to 2TB in a hybrid slot.

Italian retailer Epto has the Moto G87 listed – both are configured with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage and both are priced €406.89. For reference, the G77 is €350 and the G67 is €300 on Motorola’s Italian site. The two versions are different colors: Pantone Overture Gray (a dark slate gray) and Pantone Blue Atoll (cyan). Unfortunately, there are no images of the phone itself.

The Moto G87 will be available in two Pantone colors: Overture Gray • Blue Atoll
That’s not all, though. Our tipster (thanks!) sent us a link to a firmware dump that shows several wallpapers. Two of them are called Overture and Blue Atoll, matching the colors of the phone. But there are four more: Arctic Seal, Black Olive, Nile and Shaded Spruce. It shouldn’t surprise you that these have corresponding Pantone color names:

The firmware also gives the code name that Motorola uses for the Moto G87, Naples, and a platform: MT6835. This corresponds to several Dimensity 6000 series chips: 6100+, 6300 and 6400. It’s not clear whether this includes the latest chip, the Dimensity 6500. For context, the Moto G67 uses the Dimensity 6300 and the G77 uses the 6400.
