This just in, the freshly announced Honor 600 Pro is in the office and joining our review queue. It joins the vanilla 600 and the 600 Lite with emphasis on great cameras and big batteries, the Pro is the flagship.

Pictured with the Honor 600 below, the Honor 600 Pro isn’t bigger as both share the same 6.57-inch display. The two also share the same battery – a 7,000mAh unit outside of Europe, and a 6,400mAh unit in Europe. In terms of body durability, the pair is very robust, with coverage for both IP68, IP69, and IP69K< as well as GSG 5-star certification for drop and crush resistance.

Where the two differ is in the chipset of choice – a Snapdragon 8 Elite from the tail end of 2024 for the Pro, and a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 (from 2025) for the Honor 600.

The pair also shares most of its cameras. The main 200MP wide-angle, 12MP ultrawide, and 50MP selfie shooter are the same across the Honor 600 and 600 Pro. But the Pro adds a dedicated 3.5x zoom camera with a 50MP sensor.

There’s a dedicated camera button on both units, which is a very welcome addition. It works as you’d expect, and it’s a touch more comfortable than other phones, where it’s flush with the frame.

Being a touch smaller than the average above 6.7-inch, and 200g phone slab these days, the Honor 600 Pro feels nice in the hand. It’s neither too big nor too small. Dare we call it just right? The grippy matte surface is also a pleasure on the fingers.

You can pick up the Honor 600 Pro in Black, Golden White, or Orange and in either 12/256GB or 12/512GB trim from April 30. For the moment, we have only the Malaysian prices – MYR 3,099 ($784/€667 converted) and MYR 3,299 ($835/€710), respectively. European prices will become available soon.
