The Oppo Find N6 is already one of the most polished foldables around, but its successor could push things even further.

According to a new leak, the Oppo Find N7 may arrive with a wider display and an even less noticeable crease, addressing two areas that continue to define the foldable experience. While the device is unlikely to launch until 2027, the early details suggest Oppo is refining a formula that already stands out from rivals.

The information comes from well-known leaker Digital Chat Station, who claims the phone will feature a 7.6-inch inner display paired with a 5.5-inch outer screen. However, the numbers alone don’t tell the whole story. They point towards a wider design that should feel more like a conventional smartphone when closed.

That’s a notable shift because many book-style foldables still feel narrow and cramped on the outer display. A wider cover screen could make everyday tasks such as messaging, browsing and typing more comfortable without needing to unfold the device.

The other upgrade could be even more important. Oppo impressed with the Find N6 by dramatically reducing the visibility and feel of the display crease; it’s one of the few foldables where the crease largely fades into the background during normal use. Nevertheless, the leak suggests Oppo’s next-generation hinge could improve things further.

According to the report, the company is developing a new hinge solution that outperforms existing foldables. This could potentially make the crease even harder to see and feel. If true, that would strengthen one of Oppo’s biggest advantages in the category.

Beyond the display, the Find N7 is also tipped to use Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon Elite Gen 6 chipset. This should deliver the usual gains in performance and efficiency expected from a new flagship platform.

Of course, it’s still very early days, and Oppo has yet to officially acknowledge the device. The Find N6 only launched earlier this year, so plenty could change before its successor arrives.

Still, if Oppo can combine a wider outer screen with another meaningful crease reduction, the Find N7 could end up being one of the most interesting foldables to watch out for.
