Apple’s long-rumoured foldable iPhone has surfaced once again. This latest leak gives us one of the clearest looks yet at what could become the company’s most radical iPhone redesign in years.

New images shared by well-known leaker Sonny Dickson appear to show a dummy unit of the so-called iPhone Fold. Some reports have also referred to it as the iPhone Ultra. While it’s still far from official, the photos line up closely with previous leaks and CAD renders. Therefore, this adds a little more weight to rumours that Apple is finally preparing a foldable handset.

The images show the device both open and closed. When unfolded, the phone reveals a large internal display connected by a central hinge.

Meanwhile, the exterior appears to feature a secondary cover screen. On the rear, there’s a raised camera module positioned on one half of the device. This gives it a look that feels somewhere between a book-style foldable and a traditional iPhone.

What makes this leak more interesting is how closely it matches earlier images that surfaced in June 1. That consistency doesn’t confirm anything, but it does suggest Apple’s foldable design may already be taking shape behind the scenes.

There’s also a fresh detail about colours. According to Dickson, the dummy unit only appears in white, with no evidence of the wider colour options Apple typically offers. Another recent leak claimed Apple was still deciding whether to add a black version. This suggests the company may be keeping things relatively simple for a first-generation foldable.

Of course, it’s worth remembering that these are still unofficial images. Dummy units are often based on supply-chain information and CAD files rather than final hardware. In addition, convincing fakes are easier to create than ever.

Still, the latest leak paints a picture of a device that’s looking increasingly real. If Apple is planning to enter the foldable market, it appears to be taking a familiar approach. Rather than reinventing the category outright, Apple may stick with proven design concepts.

Apple is holding its annual WWDC event today (June 8), and while we don’t expect to see anything official on the iPhone Ultra, we could start to see hints of what the software could look like with the reveal of iOS 27.
