Lenovo recently confirmed that it is returning to the smartphone market with the launch of an updated Legion Y70 on May 19. Last week, the company teased several key specifications of the 2026 phone, and more details about the device have now surfaced.

The Lenovo Legion Y70 (2026) will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset and feature a 5,500mm² vapor chamber. The processor will be paired with LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage.

On the front, the phone will sport a Q10 AMOLED LTPO display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 2K resolution. The panel will also support a 360Hz touch sampling rate, up to 7,000 nits peak brightness, Dolby Vision, and full DC dimming.

Lenovo has also confirmed the camera specifications of the Legion Y70. The handset will feature a 50MP Sony LYT-710 primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), alongside an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2-in-1 auxiliary sensor. For selfies and video calls, it will include a 32MP front-facing camera.

The company previously revealed that the Legion Y70 will pack an 8,000mAh battery, and it has now confirmed support for 90W wired fast charging as well as bypass charging.

Additional features include IP66, IP68, and IP69 dust and water resistance ratings, enhanced Wi-Fi and cellular connectivity, and dual eSIM support.

The Legion Y70 (2026) will be available in Carbon Black and Ice Soul White color options. Customers in China can already pre-reserve the device ahead of its launch.
