The first phones with 10,000mAh batteries are already on the market from companies like Honor, vivo and Realme. Soon, Huawei will join the exclusive club, according to leakster Digital Chat Station, who claims that the company has developed a “10,000mAh+++” battery.

The exact capacity is not known, but that’s a lot of pluses. Here’s what DCS says: Huawei has developed a new battery material and a new battery system, which will allow it to build a phone with the highest capacity in the industry.

Currently, the nova 15 Max and the Enjoy 90 Pro Max are the phones with the largest batteries in the Huawei stable – both have 8,500mAh capacity. Both support 40W wired charging.

It’s not clear what this “new battery material” refers to – the Enjoy 90 Pro Max uses Silicon-Carbon, which is also the technology behind the current crop of 10K mAh phones.
