It was a jam-packed week as Apple introduced a slew of new updates at its annual Worldwide Developers Conference. The big new addition coming to iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS 27, watchOS 27, and visionOS 27 is the all-new Siri AI, which brings an overhauled set of capabilities.

They’re available for developers today and a public beta will come next month.


It is a separate app and is based on Google’s Gemini models, featuring on-device processing, while also relying on Apple’s Private Cloud Compute. Apple Intelligence is also smarter now with improved integration across first-party apps.

Samsung’s Galaxy S27 (SM-S952) made an appearance in the GSM Association’s IMEI database.

Its active development is now confirmed, not that it’s surprising in any way.


Xiaomi’s 17T series made its debut in China. The vanilla 17T got a boosted 7,000mAh Si/C battery compared to the international version’s 6,500mAh cell.

The 17T Pro (China) is available with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM.


We saw another batch of iPhone Ultra dummy unit images, which solidified what we previously knew about the highly anticipated folding iPhone’s design.

It’s rumored to come in a single color and launch alongside the iPhone 18 series later this year.


Google cut down pricing for its AI plan to $5 while also doubling the cloud storage to 400GB.

Previously, the Google AI Plus plan cost $8 a month and came with 200GB storage.


OnePlus announced its Turbo 6X and 6X Pro in China. The Pro brings an 8,000mAh Si-C battery with 80W charging, a nicer 6.78-inch M14 AMOLED (1.5K + 144Hz), MediaTek’s Dimensity 7400 Super chip and a 50MP (main) + 8MP (ultrawide) camera setup. Turbo 6X Pro is available in black and orange colors. It starts at CNY 1,999 ($295/€255 converted) for the 8/128GB trim and goes up to CNY 2,399 ($354/€306 converted) for the 12/256GB.

The non-Pro makes do with a 7,000mAh battery with 45W charging, a 6.72-inch LCD (FHD+ 144Hz), Dimensity 7360 Super chip and a 50MP (main) + 2MP (macro) cam setup. It starts at CNY 1,899 ($280/€243 converted) for the 8/128GB variant and goes up to CNY 2,299 ($340/€294 converted) for the 12/256GB.

Samsung’s upcoming folding smartphones will be the first to run One UI 9 out of the box.


We got our first look at the Galaxy S26 FE, which, unsurprisingly, looks a lot like the regular Galaxy S26. Samsung also started testing One UI 9 for the Galaxy A17, A34 and A57.
