Plenty of trailers dropped during Summer Games Fest Live 2026, including popular upcoming titles like the remake of Resident Evil: Code Veronica, Final Fantasy 7 Revelation and Star Wars Zero Company.
Plenty of games are coming this year and next year, and to the surprise of no one, companies are avoiding the month of November, as Grand Theft Auto 6 is set to launch on Nov. 19. This makes August, September and October busting at the seams with new titles, and there will likely be a flood of games in early 2027.
Still, gaming is getting really expensive thanks to the ongoing computer memory shortage that has led to an increase in prices for the PS5, Xbox Series and Switch 2, and portable gaming devices, including the Steam Deck and Lenovo Legion Go 2.
While the industry is producing some stellar titles, there’s uncertainty about how many people may be able to even play some of these new games. Games that have been in development for years are coming out at a time when hardware sales are likely to slow significantly, thanks to rising costs. Companies’ estimates of the number of buyers of their games could potentially be off from the actual sales by millions, as those who had been planning to buy new gaming hardware are unable to afford it, whether it be a console or PC.
Here are all the trailers from Friday’s Summer Games Fest Live.
