New details about vivo’s upcoming X500 series have surfaced online. This time, the leak focuses on the vivo X500 Pro, which is tipped to bring a major overhaul to its rear camera setup.
According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the vivo X500 Pro could feature a 50MP 1/1.28-inch primary rear camera with LOFIC support.

The handset is also said to include a 50MP ultrawide camera and a 64MP 1/2-inch periscope telephoto camera with support for 3x optical zoom. DCS further claims that vivo will use Sony’s new IMX06H sensor for the periscope shooter.
If the rumour turns out to be accurate, vivo may reserve the 200MP telephoto camera exclusively for the higher-end vivo X500 Pro Max.
The tipster also adds that the vivo X500 Pro will be powered by a 2nm Dimensity 9600-series chipset.

The vivo X500 series is rumored to include the X500, X500 Pro, X500 Pro Max, and X500e. It is likely to be unveiled in October.
