Alongside the launch of the Realme 16T in India, the company also unveiled the new Realme Watch S5 smartwatch in the country. The watch comes in two colors, a 1.43-inch AMOLED display, and is claimed to deliver up to 20 days of battery life.
The Realme Watch S5 features a circular 1.43-inch AMOLED display with a 466×466 pixel resolution and up to 1,000 nits of peak brightness.
The smartwatch comes with an aluminum alloy case and Panda Glass protection on the front. It is paired with silica gel straps and weighs 49.6 grams, including the strap. Meanwhile, the bottom housing, which contains the health tracking sensors, is made of PVC.
For health and fitness tracking, the Watch S5 supports heart rate monitoring, SpO2 tracking, sleep tracking, women’s health monitoring, VO2 Max measurement, daily activity tracking, and more than 110 sports modes.
Under the hood, the smartwatch is powered by the ATS3089 chipset, coupled with 4GB of NAND storage and 16MB of RAM. Connectivity features include Bluetooth 5.4 with Bluetooth calling support, as well as GPS.
The Realme Watch S5 packs a 460mAh battery, which is claimed to deliver up to 20 days of usage in Smart mode. In regular mode, the company says the smartwatch can last up to 16 days on a single charge.
It carries a 5ATM water resistance rating and is compatible with devices running Android 9.0 or iOS 11 and above. Additional features include an Always-On Display, music controls, customizable watch faces, and a functional crown.
The Realme Watch S5 is offered in Rock Grey and Sand White color options. It will go on sale starting June 5 at a special launch price of INR 7,499 ($80).
